My name is Letitia and I am the volunteer coordinator for Christ the King Food Pantry. Thank you for your interest in volunteering for this beautiful ministry.
Our food pantry has several different types of volunteering opportunities. We have day time volunteers that help clean, organize, and re-stock items. Our night time volunteers are there during “operating hours”. The pantry is open for food pick up Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30-8:30pm, so approximately 6:15pm-8:40pm for volunteers.
If you’re looking for client facing volunteer work, that is our evening slots and we are currently filling those now. I recommend if you’re interested in helping in the evening that you shadow a shift to see what it is all about. I can help you set this up.
