Christ the King Food Pantry has been serving the Concord community for over 40 years.

We want to do more.

Christ the King Parish is raising $750,000 to replace our current food pantry with a new building that provides adequate storage and ventilation, a grocery store-style layout, and private meeting space.

THEN

“In my four years at the parish, it was a privilege to be with people. I had some ideas just from walking around town and listening to people: listening to the elderly to the lonely and to those that were fearful and hungry. And I thought of ways to distribute food to them.”

Fr. Rick’s Story

NOW

“The people of our parish are so generous. They have always been involved in working with the poor whether it be at the food pantry or at the Friendly Kitchen serving people who are homeless or at the winter shelter at Concord Coalition for the Homeless. People here really live the gospel.”

Stories of Hope

Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours, Yours are the eyes through which Christ’s compassion is to look out to the world. Yours are the feet with which Christ is to go about doing good. Yours are the hands with which Christ is to bless all people now.
— St. Teresa of Avila
