Happy Thanksgiving - with Gratitude

Gratitude … in Person.

From Crystal: Last night at the food pantry, we got a surprise visit from our Congresswoman Elect, Maggie Goodlander, and the Mayor of Concord, Byron Champlin.

Both our Congresswoman and Mayor were very interested in what we are doing and very grateful for our efforts. We invited them to come back anytime and also invited them to come to our new pantry once it is built. They stood outside after leaving and talked with the clients that were waiting to come in. It was really great for our folks to meet our elected officials. One woman with three children came in afterwards. She is brand new to our pantry and said it was very emotional for her to be able to talk to the congresswoman about her struggles.  

The whole evening had an air of gratitude about it for both clients and volunteers.
